Powering Performance Marketplaces in Digital Media

QuinStreet is a pioneer in powering decentralized online marketplaces that match searchers and “research and compare” consumers with brands. We run these virtual- and private-label marketplaces in one of the nation’s largest media networks.

Our industry leading segmentation and AI-driven matching technologies help consumers find better solutions and brands faster. They allow brands to target and reach in-market customer prospects with pinpoint segment-by-segment accuracy, and to pay only for performance results.

Our campaign-results-driven matching decision engines and optimization algorithms are built from over 20 years and billions of dollars of online media experience.

We believe in:

  • The direct measurability of digital media.
  • Performance marketing. (We pioneered it.)
  • The advantages of technology.

We bring all this together to deliver truly great results for consumers and brands in the world’s biggest channel.

Job Category

We are looking for a Product Manager to help optimize and improve revenue performance across our digital consumer funnels. This role will report into the Director of Product and will focus on identifying, prioritizing, and executing improvements across web experiences that drive better conversion, throughput, and revenue outcomes.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with data, UX, engineering, analytics, and business teams to improve how consumers move through online funnels. The ideal candidate has experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization, and consumer-facing web experiences, with a strong focus on measurable business impact.

This is not a purely project management role. You will be expected to understand funnel performance, identify friction points, propose test ideas, execute experiments, and evaluate results across both user experience and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and analyze A/B tests and optimization initiatives designed to improve key funnel metrics such as:
    • Form start and completion rates
    • Click-through rates
    • Lead volume and throughput
    • Revenue per session
    • Downstream quality and monetization performance
  • Support the execution of the product roadmap focused on improving revenue per session, conversion rate, funnel throughput, and downstream monetization outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve web consumer funnels, including landing pages, forms, question flows, calls to action, offer presentation, and post-submit experiences.
  • Partner with the Director of Product to evaluate trade-offs between conversion volume, user quality, partner value, and revenue impact.
  • Analyze funnel data, experiment results, and user behavior to generate actionable insights and recommend next steps.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, analytics, marketing, and business stakeholders to define requirements, align on priorities, and move initiatives through execution.
  • Write clear product requirements for tests and funnel improvements, including user experience changes, tracking needs, success metrics, and expected business impact.
  • Monitor live experiences and proactively identify issues, friction points, or optimization opportunities.
  • Help maintain a strong testing pipeline by contributing new ideas, sizing opportunities, documenting learnings, and applying insights across similar experiences.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience running A/B tests and optimizing consumer-facing web funnels.
  • Experience optimizing web-based consumer journeys, including landing pages, forms, lead flows, quote flows, checkout flows, or similar online conversion experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret funnel data, understand experiment results, and translate insights into clear product actions.
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics such as conversion rate, revenue per session, click-through rate, completion rate, throughput, lead quality, and monetization rates.
  • Ability to balance user experience improvements with business outcomes, including revenue, volume, quality, and partner performance.
  • Strong execution skills, including the ability to manage multiple tests or initiatives at the same time while keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Ability to write clear requirements and work effectively with design, engineering, analytics, and business teams.
  • High curiosity and creativity, with a strong ability to generate practical test ideas and optimization opportunities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in home services, marketplaces, lead generation, insurance, financial services, or other performance-driven consumer funnels is strongly preferred.
  • Operate with urgency and accountability in a fast-paced environment, ensuring tests and improvements move forward quickly and effectively.
The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 USD to $110,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
