As a Platform Product Manager for the Intelligent Operations Platform, you will play a key role in making investigations seamless through ML-powered features. Your mission will be to provide the right information at the right time, automate decisions where possible, and scale solutions across teams to deliver efficiencies for all specializations within Trust. You will deliver AI/ML solutions such as summarization of complex data sources and signals, accurate labeling to drive high-performance models, and defining the integration of AI/ML into our investigator tooling.
The Difference You Will Make:
As a Platform Product Manager on the Intelligent Operations Platform, you will spearhead the vision, strategy, and execution of products that seamlessly integrate machine learning into our operational teams. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, designers, frontline product teams, and various operations experts to develop versatile platform solutions tailored to detect and address diverse types of fraud and abuse. Your efforts will ensure that our ML-powered features enhance efficiency, provide timely and relevant information, and automate decision-making processes wherever possible.
A Typical Day:
Define and execute on a robust product vision and roadmap for Airbnb operations.
Lead a cross-functional working group of engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, and cross functional teams to ensure alignment, execution, and successful product launches.
Maintain product backlog and the product roadmap.
Own prioritization process of product solutions based on business value and customer impact.
Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results by partnering with other cross functional leaders.
Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
Lead a cross-functional working group of engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, policy experts and product managers to ensure alignment on vision and strategy.
Leverage and instrument data-driven experimentation and measurement frameworks.
Present product roadmap and status to the business and Airbnb leadership on an ongoing basis.
Closely coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Global Operations, Policy, Product, and Shared Services (content, workflow, training) teams to ensure alignment, clear dependencies, and streamlined execution and launches.
Your Expertise:
8+ years product management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage a diverse audience that includes C-level executives, product teams, and technical stakeholders on a global scale
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Experienced in design, and hypothesis driven product development
Entrepreneurial drive to achieve stretch goals in an innovative, fast-paced environment
Exceptional collaboration, partnership and influencing skills with the ability to work in a global environment across multiple locations and time zones to drive consensus across teams
Comfortable in an ambiguous matrixed organization

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
