Company Description

The world’s digital experiences run on something invisible: the infrastructure and software that keep them fast, reliable, and secure. At Gcore, you’ll help design and deliver that foundation for an AI-driven world.

We’re a global provider of infrastructure and software solutions for AI, cloud, network, and security, powering everything from real-time communication and streaming to enterprise AI and secure web applications. With 210+ edge locations, 50+ cloud regions, and thousands of GPUs, your work here can reach users and businesses across the globe.

You’ll collaborate with leading technology partners such as Intel, NVIDIA, Dell, and Equinix, and work on platforms that power digital products used around the world. Our vision is simple: to connect the world to AI, anywhere, anytime.

Want to work on technology that goes beyond a single product or industry?  Join a global team of 550+ professionals building infrastructure and software that supports the entire digital ecosystem.  We are currently looking for a Product Manager - Identity & Access Management (IAM) to own Gcore's Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform - a foundational system that connects every product, team, and customer across our entire infrastructure. This role is about researching real needs, implementing enterprise-grade security capabilities, and integrating IAM seamlessly throughout our platform. You'll work closely with customers, internal product teams, support, and engineering to turn IAM into a competitive advantage and a system teams actually want to use. You will have real ownership: from stakeholder research and requirements discovery to implementation planning, platform-wide integration, and continuous iteration in production.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

Research & Requirements Discovery

  • Conduct deep stakeholder research across product teams, support, engineering, security, and customers to identify actual IAM needs and pain points

  • Translate diverse requirements into clear priorities - deciding what matters most and why

  • Validate assumptions through customer interviews, support ticket analysis, and usage data

  • Identify gaps between current capabilities and what different user types actually need

Own the IAM Product Strategy

  • Own the vision and roadmap for Gcore's IAM platform, balancing security, usability, scalability, and time-to-value

  • Define and evolve core IAM primitives: identities, organizations, roles, permissions, access policies, and authorization flows - designed for reuse across product lines

  • Make IAM decisions that scale across multiple products, teams, and customer types

Implementation & Delivery

  • Drive implementation of enterprise-level features like advanced access control systems, audit logging, SSO/SAML integration, and compliance requirements

  • Partner closely with Engineering and Security to implement high-quality IAM capabilities that meet real-world security standards

  • Ensure implementations include proper audit trails, logging, and compliance documentation

  • Focus on small, valuable releases rather than big-bang projects - ship iteratively and learn continuously

Platform-Wide Integration

  • Champion IAM integration across all Gcore products and services - this is a system that connects everything

  • Act as a product partner for internal teams, making it easy for them to adopt IAM capabilities without slowing their delivery

  • Design IAM APIs, flows, and behaviors that are predictable, well-documented, and straightforward to integrate

  • Create reference implementations and integration examples that teams can follow

Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive adoption through clear documentation, reference flows, and examples for both customers and internal teams

  • Define success metrics (e.g., auth success rate, integration time, permission coverage, audit completeness) and use them to guide iteration

  • Own customer-facing changes end-to-end, including migrations and rollouts, with a strong focus on reliability and trust

AI-Driven Product Development (Plus)

  • Actively use AI tools to accelerate discovery, spec writing, prototyping, and collaboration with Engineering

  • Explore AI-assisted approaches to improve developer experience, IAM configuration, and operational workflows

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager working on platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products

  • Strong understanding of IAM fundamentals: identity models, roles and permissions, access policies, multi-tenant systems, audit logging, and compliance requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder research and translate diverse needs into clear product priorities

  • Experience implementing enterprise security features (access control, SSO, audit trails, compliance capabilities)

  • Experience working with APIs and system-level products; you're comfortable discussing flows, edge cases, and trade-offs with engineers

  • Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction and shipped outcomes

  • Strong written communication skills - you can explain complex systems simply to both customers and internal teams

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building or owning security - or compliance-sensitive products (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, DORA/NIS2)

  • Background in cloud, edge, networking, or security platforms

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in product development or working on AI-adjacent features

  • Experience with enterprise customer requirements and B2B compliance needs
