Product Designer II
About the Role
We’re hiring a Product Designer II who combines visual excellence, product intuition, and curiosity about how AI can amplify creativity. You’ll shape experiences that connect millions of people with trusted experts around the world—designing thoughtful interfaces, crafting meaningful visuals, and exploring how AI and human expertise can work together in powerful new ways.
This isn’t a heads-down UX-only role. We’re looking for someone who leans visual and expressive, but who can still move confidently across the full design stack—research, prototyping, testing, and iteration. You’ll collaborate with teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Expert Operations to bring ideas to life through exceptional design and storytelling.
You’ll also help lead our efforts in AI-driven video and motion design, crafting content that enhances brand experiences and supports our expert and customer communities.
What You’ll Do
Design and deliver AI-powered, data-driven user experiences that increase engagement, conversion, and retention.
Design intuitive, elegant experiences across web and mobile platforms—from exploration through launch.
Create and edit short-form video and motion assets, using AI tools to accelerate production and elevate quality.
Build upon and refine our design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and polish across touchpoints.
Create polished, executive-level presentation decks that effectively communicate key insights, strategy, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Actively co-create with AI tools (Figma AI, Galileo, Lovable, Uizard, Make, ChatGPT, etc.) to enhance speed, creativity, and iteration cycles.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to ensure design decisions align with business goals and user needs.
Advocate for user-centric design through prototypes, storytelling, and data-backed insights.
Mentor peers and contribute to cultivating a strong design culture.
What We’re Looking For
5–8 years of experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer, ideally in a consumer-tech, e-commerce, or product-led organization.
Demonstrated ability to translate insights and complex requirements into simple, intuitive experiences.
Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, with hands-on familiarity using AI-driven design tools as part of your workflow.
Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant user experiences.
Strong understanding of usability, user research, accessibility, and design systems.
A growth mindset — eager to learn, experiment, and continuously evolve design practices.
Drive innovation through AI-powered design methods and modern design best practices.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Expertise in visual design, typography, interaction design, and storytelling through motion.
Ability to lead critiques, present design rationale, and align teams around a shared vision.
Familiarity with design systems, accessibility best practices, and iterative, data-informed processes.
A portfolio that reflects both your craft and your thinking—showing not just what you made, but how you approached it.
Remote From these States California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Pay Transparency JustAnswer will provide pay transparency information upon application to those in qualifying jurisdictions.
