We are looking for a Product Designer to join our AI pillar, which is focused on making Figma more powerful and approachable with AI. With the recent launch of Figma AI, the team rolled out a set of features to customers which helps them go from idea to production faster. These features are just a taste of what the team is exploring and we’re only scratching the surface of the possibilities. We’re looking for a designer who has a proven track record of working with cutting edge technologies to design delightful experiences. In this role, this person would be helping to identify new opportunities, designing concepts, defining and communicating a vision, developing prototypes, and helping build towards our vision.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, and research peers
Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
Design and ship high-quality product improvements
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
8+ years of experience designing UX and UI for software
Experience working independently to explore concepts from beginning to end
Demonstrated ability to design simple solutions to complex user problems
Experience handling complex projects with overlapping organizational lines
Proficiency in prototyping your ideas to help articulate nuanced design decisions
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience designing UX solutions built on the latest in AI technology
A generative spirit, and excitement about coming up with novel, simple solutions
An eye for high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design, and a passion for UI details
A knack for figuring out ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and prioritize work effectively
Experience mentoring junior or early career designers
