Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for indirect spend categories. Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers. Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of in the market. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Assess, manage, and mitigate risks. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Works well in both a team environment and independently. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong critical thinking skills and analytical skills. Have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance or accounting. 3-5 years of work experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Officer, Category Owner or relevant role within procurement, finance or accounting. Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems. Have proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills. Excellent negotiation, strong decision-making skills. Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures. CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
