HubSpot's Business Development team is at the forefront of driving innovation and growth for HubSpot with a large and diverse portfolio of strategic partners.. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategic partnerships that align with HubSpot's mission to help businesses grow better.
As a Partnerships Lead, you will oversee develop and nurture high-level relationships, secure incremental growth, and deliver clear and attributable value back to enhance long-term partnership success.
We are looking for a self-starter with excellent attention to detail who is ready to learn and take on new challenges as we continue to build strategic partnerships for HubSpot.
What we’re looking for and what you’ll do
Experience in managing a portfolio of partners to achieve product objectives, operational efficiency, and partner satisfaction goals
Develops and executes strategic partner plans aligned with overall business objectives.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with partners at all levels, including C-suite executives.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless partner integration and support.
Monitors partner performance metrics and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Negotiates and manages partner contracts and agreements.
Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
Conducts thorough market analysis and competitive assessments to identify growth opportunities.
Develops long-term business plans and strategies to drive revenue and market share.
Anticipates and addresses potential challenges and risks.
Makes data-driven decisions and provides actionable insights to leadership.
Ability to make things happen quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment with tenacity and sense of urgency
Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving results.
Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages multiple projects simultaneously.
Adapts quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
Fosters a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Ability to clarify and communicate complex issues for an executive audience and comfortably interact with partners and Google's executive management with excellent communication skills
Develops clear and compelling presentations for executive audiences.
Articulates complex ideas and data in a concise and persuasive manner.
Builds trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
Actively listens to understand the needs and perspectives of others.
We’re looking for people who have:
Experience working with external strategic partners
Managed strategic partnerships for a tech company
Managed executive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Created and managed deal negotiations
Worked at a B2B SaaS company
Cash compensation range: 150000-240000 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. Learn more about HubSpot’s compensation philosophy. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
