Principal Strategic Finance & Analytics - Global Operations

The Community You Will Join: 

The Principal of Strategic Finance & Analytics will report to the Finance Director Community Support. S/he will be responsible for partnering with the Global Operations team including Community Support (“CS”), Blueprint, Trust and Privacy, Finance partners and analytics teams to provide insights and actionable recommendations.

The Difference You Will Make:

• Analyze Guest / Host behaviors and operations metrics to provide insights, estimate financial impact and provide actionable recommendations. 

• Collaborate with the CS Strategic Planning and Operations team to establish key metrics and operating rhythm. 

• Analyze operations metrics to support overall CS partner strategy.

• Collaborate with global operations, analytics and finance teams to achieve collective goals, track progress and drive accountability.

• Collaborate with finance to ensure financial impacts of the aforementioned are included on financial operations including budgeting, planning, monthly/quarterly close, forecasting, variance analysis, long-range planning, financial reporting, and P&L management.

Your Expertise:

• 8+ years of relevant experience including financial analysis and working with large data sets

• Proficient in SQL

• Advanced modeling skills

• B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
