Principal Product Manager
Job Category
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and highly autonomous individual contributor to drive cross-sell product strategy and execution across QuinStreet’s verticals. This role will focus on identifying and operationalizing revenue synergies across businesses—for example, connecting small business insurance, small business loans, and small business credit cards into cohesive cross-sell journeys that increase lifetime value and monetization.
This is a hands-on product role, not a people-management role. You will work independently and cross-functionally to design, test, launch, and optimize cross-vertical experiences that materially grow revenue.
Responsibilities
Own and drive cross-sell product strategy across QuinStreet verticals, identifying opportunities where users can be intelligently routed or re-engaged across insurance, lending, credit cards, and other business lines
Identify high-value synergies between verticals (e.g., SMB insurance → SMB loans → SMB credit cards) and design product flows, logic, and offers to unlock incremental revenue
Build and execute cross-vertical product roadmaps including widgets, lead-gen forms, post-conversion offers, remarketing flows, and search-and-compare experiences
Work autonomously with developers, designers, analytics, site managers, and account teams to launch and scale new cross-sell experiences across our network of sites
Lead end-to-end experimentation (A/B testing, CRO), from hypothesis through measurement, iteration, and scaling across multiple properties
Analyze funnel performance, user behavior, and monetization data to uncover high-growth opportunities and continuously optimize performance
Develop dashboards, reporting, and insights to clearly communicate performance, learnings, and ROI to stakeholders
Act as a cross-functional connector across product, analytics, engineering, media, and business teams—becoming a go-to resource on cross-sell strategy and execution
Help establish repeatable frameworks and SOPs for identifying, testing, and scaling cross-vertical monetization opportunities
Requirements
5+ years of experience in product management or growth/product optimization, ideally in performance-driven or marketplace businesses
Strong A/B testing and conversion rate optimization experience (must-have)
Proven ability to work as a high-impact individual contributor, owning large initiatives end-to-end without people management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear product decisions; excellent Excel and data analysis skills and comfort working directly with raw data
Ability to juggle multiple parallel initiatives and prioritize independently in a fast-moving environment
Experience working across multiple business lines or product verticals is strongly preferred
Comfort working across UX, monetization, technical scalability, and operational improvements—not limited to pure design work
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action, experimentation, and measurable outcomes
Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority
Experience in insurance, financial services, lending, or credit cards is a strong plus
BA/BS required
Flexibility to travel as needed
What Success Looks Like
Measurable incremental revenue lift driven by cross-sell across QuinStreet verticals
Scaled, repeatable cross-sell patterns deployed across multiple sites and partners
Faster experimentation cycles and improved monetization efficiency across the portfolio
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 USD to $175,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
