Principal Product Manager - AI
The Opportunity
Gametime is building the future of how fans discover, decide on, and experience live events. As we enter the next chapter of our product evolution, AI is unlocking entirely new ways to create value for users—and entirely new growth opportunities for the business.
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead this transformation. This is a rare opportunity to define and launch multiple 0-to-1, AI-enabled products that will materially impact Gametime’s growth. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, partner closely with design and engineering, and shape new value propositions that drive step-change improvements in conversion, engagement, and GMV.
If you thrive in ambiguity, love building new products from first principles, and want your work to directly move the top line, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Own 0→1 AI product strategy and execution Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for new AI-enabled experiences—spanning discovery, experimentation, launch, and iteration—both within and adjacent to Gametime’s core mobile and web products.
Drive measurable business impact Identify and execute opportunities that unlock meaningful improvements in conversion and open up new growth channels. You’ll be accountable for outcomes, not just output.
Define differentiated value propositions Translate emerging AI capabilities into clear, compelling user value that meaningfully improves how fans discover and purchase tickets.
Run fast, rigorous experimentation Design and prioritize experiments, partner closely with design and engineering, and rapidly learn what works (and what doesn’t) through real user feedback and data.
Be the voice of the user Deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and decision-making, and ensure those insights drive product strategy and execution.
Lead cross-functional collaboration Work closely with engineering, design, data, marketing, and leadership to align strategy, execution, and measurement.
What We’re Looking For
Senior product leadership experience You’ve led complex product initiatives with high ambiguity and high impact, ideally owning major 0-to-1 efforts.
Strong product intuition + analytical rigor You balance qualitative user insight with quantitative decision-making and are fluent in defining success metrics and evaluating results.
Experience shipping AI-powered or data-driven products You don’t need to be an ML engineer, but you understand how to turn AI capabilities into real user value and business outcomes.
Bias for action and speed You know how to move fast without sacrificing quality, and you’re comfortable making decisions with imperfect information.
Excellent communicator and collaborator You can clearly articulate strategy, influence without authority, and bring cross-functional partners along with you.
High ownership mindset You treat the product like a business and feel personally accountable for its success.
Why This Role Is Special
True 0→1 ownership: You’ll define products that don’t exist yet, not incrementally optimize ones that already do.
Massive surface area for impact: Even small wins can translate into meaningful GMV gains at Gametime’s scale.
AI at the core, not the edges: This role is about building fundamentally new experiences enabled by recent advances in AI.
Visibility and influence: Your work will directly shape Gametime’s product direction and growth strategy.
Strong cross-functional partners: You’ll work alongside talented designers and engineers who are excited to build what’s next.
What We can Offer:
Flexible PTO
Competitive salary & equity package
Monthly Gametime credits for any event ($1,200/yr)
Medical, dental, & vision insurance
Life insurance and disability benefits
Diverse Family-forming benefits through Carrot Fertility
401k, HSA, pre-tax savings programs
Company off-sites and meet-ups
Wellness programs
