What You Will Do:
Oversee Physician Coding Operations, Outpatient, and CDI Operations
Establish and manage project plans to meet business and client goals with respect to revenue, productivity, quality, performance management, retention, and training and turnaround time among other operational parameters
Formulate and clearly deliver education, written and oral, to providers, client leadership and internal leadership
Proactively identify and manage through potential risks of plan deviation, communicating status, impact, and recommendations appropriately to your manager
Engage Leadership, Finance, IT and other support areas as needed to achieve goals. Manage targets to reasonable expectations, communicate dependencies and plans effectively, and report out on status of projects and initiative
What You Will Need:
University Degree and 7 + years of prior relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
Minimum of 3 years Management experience in oversight of physician medical coding teams
Experience in or overseeing Outpatient, Clinical Documentation, and/or Revenue Integrity teams
CPC coding certification from AAPC
Proficiency in analyzing data and creating reports in word or excel
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Multispecialty Coding experience
Multiple credentials including a CDEO and/or CRC
Experience working in Academic Medical Facilities
Highly motivated and organizational skill level to work in a fast-paced environment
Good written and oral communication skills
The annual salary range for this position is $77,000.00-$129,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
