To meet the demands of this fast-growing company, the People Experiences team is critical in influencing and supporting StackAdapt's people strategy. The People Operations Specialist collaborates to develop, optimize, and implement people processes and programs while overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of People Operations. They will support the business and our employees throughout their employee lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone passionate about enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to the overall employee experience.
This is a remote role and open to candidates across in the US or Canada.
What you'll be doing:
Ensure a positive onboarding experience for new team members and a smooth offboarding experience for departing employees by completing all aspects of onboarding and offboarding accurately and timely while maintaining excellent communication and customer service.
Help define the People Operation team's role in identifying and addressing documentation or process gaps, with a strong emphasis on a solutions-focused skillset. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement. This proactive approach ensures the integrity of the onboarding and offboarding processes.
Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness, facilitating effective decision-making and resource allocation.
Serve as the first point of contact for the people experience team inquiries via Slack and email, escalating issues to the appropriate team members as needed.
Process requests for verifications of employment and unemployment claims.
Audit onboarding issues to ensure task completion in alignment with applicable deadlines.
Coordinate and invite new team members to the StackAdapt Meetings Calendar and any Slack channels the new person needs to join.
Facilitate ordering gifts and flowers for significant life events, work anniversaries, or on request, ensuring these are correctly expensed to the relevant team.
Re-allocation of tasks to ensure continuity in instances where team members have indicated that they may be unable to attend to them through a handover discussion.
What you'll bring to the table:
2+ years in a people operations/HR role
An excellent understanding of People (HR) Operations and procedures
Ability to demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Proactive and result-driven with solid attention to detail.
Experience with working with people tools such as an HRIS
Ability to navigate and manage within a complex and fast-paced environment.
Understanding diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
