Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Payments Business Development Manager to join our team. This role focuses on promoting Blackbaud Integrated Payments to third-party solutions, expanding market share, and ensuring seamless integration of our payment services.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Program Development
Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to position Blackbaud as the preferred payment provider for third-party solutions with shared customers.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions (target segments, pricing, offer development).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategy with partnership, product development, and marketing efforts.
Work closely with the Partner Team to define and shape the Blackbaud Payments Partner Program.
Business Development
Identify and target potential third-party platform partners aligned with Blackbaud’s strategic goals.
Engage key decision-makers to present Blackbaud’s payment solutions and negotiate partnership terms.
Provide pre-sales guidance on integration, compatibility, and functionality.
Close deals with new “payments partners” and onboard them effectively.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Account Management
Support new partners through successful integration of Blackbaud’s payment solutions.
Offer hands-on assistance during implementation, troubleshooting, and configuration.
Provide ongoing training and support to maximize partner success.
Monitor partner performance and develop strategies to drive transaction volume and revenue growth.
Achieve quarterly and annual realized revenue/volume targets.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 6 years of experience in transactional and/or partner-sourced revenue generation.
Experience driving transactional revenue via payment services integrations (strong plus).
Proven business development and account management experience in fintech or transactional revenue-oriented businesses.
Strong understanding of APIs, payment processing, gateways, and fintech.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The starting base pay is $87,700.00 to $114,200.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
