Role Description

Are you a creator? Are you savvy with social media, storytelling, and video editing? Are you plugged into the world of content creation and its players? You’ve come to the right place! This is a part-time, remote work opportunity for a social media content creator to join our team at Passionfruit. We’re looking for folks passionate about creating, tuned in to the ever-changing internet and curious about what’s going on in the world of creators. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts on a weekly basis covering (but not limited to) Passionfruit stories, breaking creator news, latest internet trends, etc. 

• Utilize graphic design skills to create quality video graphics/static/carousel posts as needed

• Create weekly reports of social media performance, including trends and observations 

• Meet with Social Media Manager throughout the week to ideate content ideas, schedule content, and maintain content calendar

• Spend time engaging with Passionfruit’s audience and larger creator community across various social media platforms

• Experiment with variety of content ideas, analyze results, and form social strategy 

• Assist Passionfruit social media team with weekly output 

What You Bring:

• Skilled in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Discord, Patreon, etc.

• At least one year of experience in social media and content creation, with portfolio or examples of work

• Proficient in video production from filming content (comfortable being on camera)/gathering assets, to editing and posting short-form videos

• Proficient in graphic design and familiar with designing in Canva, Figma, or Adobe Photoshop, etc. 

• Ability to work minimum of 10 hours per week and meet remotely with Passionfruit and social media team during working hours

• Comfortable completing multiple videos/social media projects weekly in a remote work environment 

• Possess great attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to analyze social media analytics and form strong social strategy 

Bonus, but Not Required:

• Completed or in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree studying Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Arts, Design, or related field.

Benefits/Pay:

• $25/hour
