The Marketing Department promotes TCGplayer as a brand and drives sales of our products and services. The department is responsible for the long-term planning, strategy, and direction of creative and digital campaigns and projects across multiple channels (internal and external) supporting company OKRs. Who You Are  

Are you an experienced Partnerships Manager looking to manage and execute all aspects of partnership programs that drive monetization, expand brand presence, and enhance seller and buyer experience? Reporting to the Director of Partnerships the Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of partnership programs that drive monetization, expand brand presence, and enhance seller and buyer experience across TCGplayer’s ecosystem. 

As Partnerships Manager, you will support the strategic vision and manage daily operations of partnership activities. You will be responsible for developing and executing tailored go-to-market programs that align with overarching business goals. You will work externally on the partnership roadmap and internally with Marketing, Seller Experience, Strategy, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Product, and Customer Experience to deliver on business goals. You will drive multiple large-scale programs simultaneously with competing deadlines while setting the pace for cross-functional teams  

The Impact You Will Make Here

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with partner organizations including regular communication, understanding partner needs, and ensuring that the partnership is mutually beneficial

  • Manage delivery of multiple partnerships and workstream deliverables simultaneously from planning through execution and reporting while keeping stakeholders informed about the progress, challenges, and successes of the program

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the partner’s business goals, marketing strategies, and key performance indicators to effectively align and achieve mutual success. Create and implement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, and that maximize the value of partnerships

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that the partnership is integrated across the organization and that all stakeholders are aligned

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to assess partnership effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, uncover new opportunities, and provide data-driven insights for informed strategic decision-making

  • Identify opportunities that can add value to the organization, and initiate discussions and exploratory meetings to assess fit and potential collaboration  

What You Bring to the Team

  • 5+ years of experience marketing, business development or related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field,  or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience building and growing relationships with partners 

  • 3+ years building presentations and presenting to partners and/or executives

  • 3+ years negotiating commercial terms of partnerships and contract management to ensure compliance and fulfillment of obligations by all parties

  • Proficiency is Google Suite and Microsoft Suite  

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$88,000 - $137,500

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
