About Enode
At Enode, our mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy system by connecting and optimizing the world’s energy devices. A fully renewable energy system is dependent on flexible demand that can adapt to the intermittent supply from wind and solar. To create this flexibility, we need to connect to and control the fast-growing demand coming from electric vehicles, heat pumps and other energy hardware. This is what we’re doing at Enode. Our APIs power the next generation of green energy apps, with our customers representing over 250 million consumers worldwide. Yet, we’re still at the start of our journey, and we want exceptional people to join us.
About the role
At Enode we partner with leading energy hardware OEMs to help end-users get more value from their electric vehicles, thermostats, and other energy hardware (DERs). These OEM partnerships are very important to Enode, and we are looking for a Partnership Manager to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones as we scale across our key markets (Europe, US, and Australia).
You will be responsible for OEM dialogues from sourcing to signed partnership agreement
You will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing OEM partnerships
You will develop and execute our long-term OEM partnership strategy and playbook
You will work cross-functionally with our product, tech, sales, and customer success teams, participate in and lead company-wide projects
You will report to the Head of Partnerships, Henrik, with main responsibility for OEM partnerships.
About you
You are mission-driven and motivated to fight climate change. You are excited about the electrification of transport and the opportunity to use energy hardware to solve grid challenges in the transition to a renewable energy system.
To succeed as Partnership Manager you are a person who easily builds trust and relationships with senior stakeholders in large companies. You should be excited about the opportunity to identify and understand their needs and help them achieve their business goals as an Enode partner.
You have drive, ambition, and passion to build a globally important climate tech business
You are an excellent problem solver and strategic thinker, with the ability to manage complex projects
You have 3-8 years of relevant experience from software, energy, energy hardware, or other high-performing environments (e.g. top-tier consulting)
You have experience with or high interest in renewable energy, electric vehicles, smart energy hardware and/or demand response
You have strong negotiation and diplomatic skills
You are well-organized and independent
You are ready to get your hands dirty, ideally with startup or scale-up experience
You have excellent communication skills, written and oral (English)
You are based in Europe and able to work in the CET time zone +-3 hours
As a startup, we want to attract the best candidates with the highest potential for growth & impact. If we think you’re a fit, note the seniority and responsibilities for this role can be tailored based on your experience.
What we offer
A stimulating, fun, and caring work environment with high drive and ambition
Opportunity to join an early-stage climate tech startup with global aspirations
Competitive compensation, including a very attractive employee option program
Unlimited PTO & flexible working schedule
A remote-first setup. We also have an office in Oslo if you want to work from there
Stipend for setting up your home office & co-working space
Regular offsites with the team in various exciting locations (we went to Costa Brava 🇪🇸 on the last one).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
