Snowflake is experiencing exponential growth, and we are expanding our AMER GTM team for our application ecosystem. We’re hiring a Partner Development Manager to drive partners' success in building applications that are Powered by Snowflake. The Partner Development Manager will be part of the Data Cloud Product team within Alliances and focus on the partnership with strategic vertical organizations who design, build, launch & monetize new data applications that leverage the Snowflake Data Cloud and marketplace. The Partner Development Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the GTM capabilities of these partners in the US. We are looking for a builder, team player and future leader to win the hearts and minds of our Data Cloud Product Partners.
AS A PARTNER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Be accountable for the success of our Powered by Snowflake partners, measured through validated applications, consumption, pipeline generation, solution adoption and co-selling with the Snowflake field.
Engage directly with strategic customers and partners as a primary point of contact.
Develop innovative business models that align with Snowflake and partner objectives.
Work collaboratively with the customer executive team to build a comprehensive joint business plan.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to build joint go-to-market plans, marketing engines and sales strategies.
Develop joint sales plays that effectively position partner solutions in conjunction with the core benefits of Snowflake.
Drive sales enablement efforts around partner solutions across the global Snowflake sales organization; be the partner evangelist within the Snowflake sales organization.
Build effective and collaborative relationships with our sales teams.
OUR IDEAL PARTNER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Minimum 8 -10 years of relevant sales, business development or alliances experience.
Proven success in directly managing customer and partner relationships toward business outcomes.
Strong business and financial acumen and an ability to forge creative solutions.
You have demonstrated the ability to effectively collaborate across functional teams to support customer/partner success.
An understanding of usage-based business models.
Strong skills in multitasking, communication, negotiation, organization, and teamwork.
An ability to work independently to solve problems and deliver growth metrics.
Strong strategic selling/business development skills.

An MBA or advanced degree alongside a background working with or support Financial Services clients or partners is a plus.
