How you’ll make an impact
This role is responsible for creating independent, skilled and confident Xero Partners, namely accountants within Accountancy Practices or Bookkeepers. It is also responsible for the implementation and delivery of business plans for the Partners to implement their online strategies. The nature of the role determines that there will be some travel onsite to partners offices where necessary and for regular team kick off meetings.
What you’ll do
Delivery of specialist subject sessions from the Xero Digital Journey as part of a migration project to assist Partners in their adoption of Xero
Utilise your experience and expertise to challenge our partners and improve the use of Xero and associated tools (Partner Add-Ons, Practice Software)
Liaise with the Lead consultant to understand the requirements of the specific partner engagements assigned
Collaborate with others to create and maintain resources relevant to your specialist area (eg Next Gen Practice)
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in assigned Partners
Compile feedback from Partners and deliver through appropriate channels
Update the CRM system with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings
Respond in a timely manner to Partner queries
In addition to the above (core) responsibilities the Consultant may be asked to:-
Present at Xero Workshops, Roadshows and other partner facing conferences
Support the Education Team to help develop best of breed self-implementation resources
Support other initiatives internally as required
What you’ll bring with you
Experience of working in an accounting practice
Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Applications, and CRM
A recognised accountancy qualification (desirable)
Xero expertise and other accounting software knowledge (desirable)
Outstanding communication and presentation skills (essential)
Initiative and ability to work autonomously
Attention to detail, process and follow-up
Passion and desire to make a difference
Flexible, adaptable and the ability to travel nationwide (including overnight)
