About the RoleThe Role The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of advice we offer personally through our financial planning team, and the advice we deliver through codified on-line advised customer journeys. You will work with the Personal Advice Team, producing advice for both new enquiries and existing client reviews, carrying out thematic and client specific investment & product research and case checking (referrals /annual reviews /sampling), offering a range of remote advice services commensurate with our independent status. You will also work more widely with the Wealth Wizards team to support the development of new codified advice journeys and the delivery of existing journeys. You will be the first point of contact where individual on-line cases need further checks by a professional before proceeding to a recommendation. It's a role where you will get to apply all your existing Paraplanning expertise, while working with the business to develop the advice delivery methods of the future. As a regulated business all of the advice we give needs to be carefully delivered to agreed compliance and service standards. Responsibilities
Analysing data and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives
Providing records to support research undertaken
Consolidation of client needs and objectives, together with the recommendations and course of action in a written format via a suitability letter, client specific illustration and key features document
Assisting advisers with the presentation of recommendations
Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures and ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis
Preparation of existing client files ready for reviews of advice
Carrying out administrative duties as required for the fulfilment of the role and delivery of the advice
Ensure high standards of advice including record keeping, management reporting, compliance and customer satisfaction, and ensure any associated business risks are understood and managed.
Assisting advisers with referrals from the automated advice platform
Assisting with the continuous improvement process for advice by developing new and revised advice policies and obtaining sign off from Compliance and Investment Committee
Assisting with the establishment and development of key relationships within the group and with our key business partners.
Assisting with firm wide centralised investment process and proposition.
Assisting with product and fund research required for inclusion in advice strategies.
About YouWhat we're looking for
Appropriate Financial Services qualifications (IMC, CII, IFS, CFA etc), ideally already achieved or working towards Chartered status
Strong market knowledge and interest in best practice advice
Excellent organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to stay focused under pressure.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Highly numerate and analytical
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Awareness of commercial and strategic business imperatives
