Role: Oracle Enterprise Architect
Location: Davidson, NC or Remote with Milestone Travel (Must reside in the United States)
Relevant Experience: 15 Overall
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Standardize the canonical data model to ensure consistency across integrations.
- Oversee, Develop and implement API management strategies in line with new directives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance requirements.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts and documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct reviews of existing integration architectures and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and integration patterns.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to integration and API management.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of SOA, microservices, and API-first design principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in API design, development, and lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of canonical data modeling and its application in integrations.
- Experience in defining and implementing canonical data models across diverse systems.
- Familiarity with integration security patterns and protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integration projects.
- Minimum of 15 years of overall professional experience in IT.
- At least 5 years of experience specifically as an Enterprise Architect focusing on integration technologies.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (minimum of 5 years).
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its integration capabilities (minimum of 3 years).
- Expertise in Webmethods onPrem integration (minimum of 3 years).
- Proficiency with Apigee API Management platform (minimum of 2 years).
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a focus on integration technologies.
- Experience with designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Certification in Oracle Fusion Middleware, AWS, or Apigee.
- Experience with other integration tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 08/29/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $138,000/Year to $162,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
