We are seeking a Middle PHP Developer to join our growing engineering team. If you're passionate about clean code, ownership, and working closely with product and operations teams to build reliable, scalable solutions, we want to hear from you.

About the role

We're looking for a Middle PHP Developer to join our development team, with solid experience in service-oriented architectures and object-oriented programming best practices. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with third-party integrations, relational databases, and AI-assisted development tools to speed up and improve code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend features in PHP following service-oriented architecture principles
• Integrate third-party services (APIs, SSO) in a secure and scalable way
• Collaborate with the team on relational database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Use AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or others) for code generation, refactoring, and migrations
• Work within containerized environments using Docker
• Participate in code reviews and version control best practices (Git)

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP (object-oriented, service-based architecture, 3+ years of experience)
• Knowledge/experience with Git, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Docker, and jQuery
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of UNIX systems and basic commands
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) and demonstrated ability to use them effectively for code generation, refactoring, and migration work
• Experience working with third-party integrations (API, SSO)
• B1 English

Nice to Have

• Background in fintech, banking, or payments systems
• Experience with UI component libraries (Kendo UI or similar) and Tailwind CSS or comparable utility-first CSS frameworks
• Experience with AWS services (Secrets Manager, S3/Cloud Storage) and infrastructure-as-code
