Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mid Level Interaction Designer with strong GDS experience to join the multidisciplinary team on one of our programmes. This is a 5 week Contract role designed for someone who enjoys working in complex, high social impact delivery environments. 

The role is remote. We are ideally looking for someone who can ASAP.

You’ll be delivering Interaction Design across a substantial GDS  project, working closely with multidisciplinary teams on problems that are often complex, sensitive and fast‑moving. The role will involve working on an NECSWS Health Product, conducting UX Review and Redesign of key screens. You will then support the research while the testing of the prototype occurs. 

Qualifications

Essential Experience: 

  • Significant experience working as an Interaction Designer within GDS projects 
  • Experience with Design Reviews
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary delivery teams 
  • Demonstrable experience working with complex stakeholder groups, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities 

Desirable Experience: 

  • Experience working within Health Contexts. 

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence will be required.
  • All offers are subject to satisfactory vetting, references and occupational health checks. 
  • Depending on the nature of the role a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required.
