We are seekinganexperienced Project Manager to plan,monitor, and manage internal marketing projects fromplanningthroughclose out for Compassion’s Supporter Experienceteam.
This roleisresponsible forleading the planning andbuild phasesof a variety of marketing initiatives, including print collateral, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital deliverables that support our strategic KPIs of retention, engagement, and revenue. The Project Managerwill secure required resources and apply formal project management processes and tools to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and change control.
Working within anagilemethodology, this individualwillfacilitatesprint planning, quarterly planning,stand up meetings,and other foundational meetings to ensure project alignment and momentum.Proficiencyin a project management tool isrequired—experience with Adobe Workfront is a plus—as the Project Manager willbe responsible forbuilding andmaintainingproject schedules, monitoring project health, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
At this career level, the Project Manageroperatesindependently on moderately complex projects or collaborates as a team member on larger initiatives.
What will you do?
Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Act as an advocate to raisethe awarenessof the needs of children. Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commit to andprioritizeschild protection considerations in all decision-making,tasksand activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse,neglector exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
Uphold and engage in Compassion’s coreCultural Behaviors.
Use discretion and judgement to lead or support project planning, resourcing, staffing,supplyand subcontract management on basic projects.
Effectively use structured project governance systems for monitoring and tracking deliverables and resolving issues, ensuring delivery to the project plan and budget on basic projects.
Apply professional project management skills to plan,monitorand manage projects from initiation through completion. This includes developing assignments,timetablesand responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
Provide progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management, to include organizing team members, and ensuring that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time.
Monitor performance and recommendschedulechanges, costadjustmentsor resource additions.
Ensure project results meet requirementsregardingtechnical quality, reliability,scheduleand cost.
May provideexpertiseto other professionals and support staff in the project management discipline.
Whatdoyou bring?
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent education,trainingand/or certification.
Three years relevant experience as a project manager; experience managing projects in marketing contexts strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience using a project management system for project/program/portfolio management; Workfront experience preferred.
Familiarity with agile methodologies including working in Sprints and performing backlog refinement.
