Position Overview

Menlo Security is seeking a motivated Marketing Analyst with early to intermediate career experience to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data-driven decision making, eager to contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive business growth. The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing demand marketing trends, monitoring competitive demand activity, and evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness to support strategic decision-making processes. This role will report to the Sr Director, Demand Generation, and serve as a strategic advisor on the performance and trends of the Demand Gen team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform, visualize, and present data analytics on the outcomes of Demand activities:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and produce visualizations to evaluate and present the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, web traffic, and key business metrics.

  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing leaders on the reporting and analysis of key pipeline measurements, including but not limited to: ROI, cost per lead, cost per opportunity, deal velocity, average deal size, rolling analysis, cohort analysis, stage conversion rates…

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Director on the reporting and analysis of key website traffic metrics, including but not limited to: Traffic acquisition, new users, active users, bounce rate, engagement time, web conversions…

  • Assemble the above mentioned metrics into a weekly Master Metrics Report for the Head of Demand Gen and CMO

  • Present insights, trends, and recommendations on Demand strategies:

    • After collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data from the above areas - work with the functional owners and Head of Demand Gen to recommend quarterly adjustments.

    • Recommend areas of activity for both increased and decreased investment.

  • Maintain and optimize the primary data storage and analytics platforms:

    • Represent the Marketing team’s priorities regularly in conversations with the Business Intelligence (BI) team, who own Salesforce, Snowflake, and Tableau.

    • Determine and recommend updates to these BI systems which would benefit and streamline marketing analytics and processes.

  • Monitor and report on operational and competitive Demand dynamics:

    • Conduct a quarterly report on where primary competitors are investing their budget

    • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to determine new trends and capabilities in demand marketing technology and platforms

    • Collaborate with Product Marketing to determine any major shifts in primary competitor demand messaging

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing analyst role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector.

  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau, Snowflake).

  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • A passion for technology and cybersecurity is a plus.

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Menlo Security, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $62,000 - $108,000.

In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is Menlo Security’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become Menlo Security shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

Menlo Security does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters. Fees will not be paid in the event a candidate submitted by a recruiter without an agreement in place is hired; such resumes will be deemed the sole property of Menlo Security.
