Blizzard is on a quest to find a legendary Marketing Manager of Global Consumer Marketing, Mobile, who is a grandmaster of their craft. We are seeking a solid professional who has helped launch and manage top-grossing mobile games. We are particularly interested in someone who has been able to assist successful live games that saw month-to-month growth through focused user acquisition. This person will have a good understanding of user acquisition, which includes the ability to build strategy and scale campaigns to improve paid channels such as Facebook, Google UAC, and mobile networks. We need someone who takes a proactive approach to help drive key mobile campaigns and understands the nuanced skills required to build world-class creative.

This individual will partner with dedicated teams leading brand marketing, growth marketing, user acquisition, ASO, and owned channels while building best-in-class content that honors our commitment to quality but remains data-informed. This Marketing Manager will join a small but growing mobile team in Sanctuary and assist in managing external agencies and partnering with internal creative services teams.
You can think ahead and work independently but also contribute cross-functionally to benefit the business, drive go-to-market plans, and have the confidence to speak up and lead. While impeccable project management skills are at the core of this role, this individual will also need to contribute strategically to drive all marketing initiatives, work with our development partners, and lead agency partners.
Remote Eligible:
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY, or Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.
What you bring to the table:
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Identify, plan, and optimize strategy and marketing plans, ensuring all communications and campaign materials deliver against that strategy.
• Work closely with Blizzard’s Commercial Organization on Products’ Live Service and Go to Market Plans, leading CFX teams to deliver toward established critical metrics.
• Collaborate with external partner agencies, internal production, and creative services, leading the overall creative brief process and strategy development.
• Project manage and oversee budget allocation and delivery of final creative for paid media campaigns (globally).
• Help drive social media strategies, development, and execution for mobile franchises, including analyzing marketing campaigns and competitors.
• Manage ASO strategy, working closely with CFX teams to optimize storefront performance and visibility.
• Research and build on mobile “standard methodologies,” building bridges with internal partners to promote a mobile-first, data-informed approach to marketing.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years marketing experience with 2+ years in mobile marketing, publishing, or user acquisition
• Passion for gaming and understanding of current industry trends
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Results oriented, self-motivated
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• A passion for gaming is also preferred, as is prior experience with helping to drive innovative marketing programs and prior work with brands that do this well.
