Position Summary: The Manager of Site Strategy and Engagement is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clinical research sites, ensuring successful site engagement, and performance throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with clinical operations teams, ensuring the utilization of the services scoped, and working to enhance site satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Site Engagement: Identify, assess, and engage with potential clinical research sites in studies contracted to use Scout services, ensuring they are aware of the service and have everything needed to optimize use of the portal.
Site Support: Provide guidance and direction to sites and operations team members to drive strategy for continued use of the portal.
Site/Study Utilization Monitoring: Monitor site utilization throughout the trial, ensuring portal use and proactively addressing any issues or concerns that may arise at the site level.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Patient Lesions, Site staff, and sponsors, to ensure alignment on site-related needs.
Site Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term, productive relationships with clinical sites. Regularly check in with sites to assess their needs, gather feedback, and improve site engagement strategies.
Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Anticipate, identify, and resolve any issues or obstacles at the site level to ensure continued use of the portal.
Regional Client Support: Support client conversations with regional specific expertise. Gather local market insights including challenges and recommend how Scout can best support or solve them.
Marketing for the region: Support marketing with drafting messaging with an emphasis on local, cultural, economic and regulatory considerations.
Complete all required initial and ongoing training within a reasonable or provided timeframe.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical research or clinical trial management, with a focus on site management or clinical site engagement.
Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (spoken and written)
