​​About the Role:

Hims & Hers is looking to hire a Finance Manager - Headcount to join our finance organization. This role will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Head Count/ G&A cost as part of the Corporate FP&A organization. As the Finance Manager, you will own and be responsible for reporting on and managing our headcount and associated compensation elements (salary, benefits, SBC, etc.) across a specified group of cross-functional stakeholders. This role is critical to ensure we continue to scale our organization in a disciplined way, using an analytical approach to rationalize necessary hiring in a rapidly scaling company.

You Will:

  • Own monthly forecasting inputs for our headcount expense budgets

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization from our Legal, Finance, Operations, and Engineering, etc., to develop thoughtful and actionable hiring and expense targets to achieve key business priorities. 

  • Build monthly reporting packages, reviewed with CEO and direct staff, to highlight performance versus budget and alignment with broader company priorities. 

  • Develop methodologies and analytics to enhance capital allocation decisions to maximize investment ROI. 

  • Create models and reporting that distill complex information into actionable business insights

  • Define operational KPIs, and build and automate reporting around them

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on cross-functional teams. You will develop and present your business leaders with the most current information, analysis, and insights to help them understand their short and long-term financial position.

  • Perform ad-hoc projects, financial analyses, and presentations for executive management and the Board of Directors.

You Have:

  • B.S. in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, and/or consulting

  • Experience in technology/consumer retail or at a high-growth start-up is preferred but not required

  • Experience with Headcount mgmt,  online subscription businesses, and metrics concepts is a plus

  • Experience in Excel and Google Workspace 

  • Strategic thinker who is intellectually curious, loves the challenge of bringing structure to complex unstructured problems

Nice to Have:

  • Execute requests into finished deliverables with minimal direction required

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask 

  • An agile self-starter who thrives in an ever-changing  work environment

  • Experience as a people leader, documented ability to coach and develop talent 

  • Capability to develop sound frameworks and complex models from scratch

  • The ability to manipulate large datasets is a must

  • Experience with design/development of dashboards and visual management is a plus
