You’ll set the standard for how our customers operationalize Cyberhaven’s Data Detection & Response platform to reduce data loss. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with deep data protection expertise and a client-first mindset, who can build a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and partner closely with customer security and operations teams. This role reports to the Director of Professional Services.
What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Protection Analysts in the Americas, setting clear goals, giving regular feedback, and building career paths
Recruit, hire, and onboard analysts, and build the team structure, processes, and capacity plans needed to scale with customer growth
Own the quality, consistency, and timeliness of the team’s work across customer engagements, including incident analysis, policy and dataset tuning, forensic investigations, and executive reporting
Establish and maintain playbooks, templates, and best practices for incident investigation, noise and false-positive reduction, and incident-response workflows
Define and track team KPIs (such as response times, customer satisfaction, and risk-reduction outcomes) and report on them to leadership
Serve as an escalation point for complex investigations and a trusted advisor to customer security leaders (CISOs, SOC managers, and insider risk teams)
Partner with clients to develop incident response workflows that map to their security objectives and policies, and guide the team as customers’ data risk strategies mature
Present formal summaries, trend analyses, and realized-value readouts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
Stay current on external DLP, Insider Risk, and CASB market trends, and use those insights to shape team strategy and demonstrate customer value
Collaborate with Cyberhaven’s Product and Development teams to relay customer and analyst feedback, drive requirements, and develop innovative strategies for monitoring and preventing data loss
Work with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent customer experiences
Work with Service leaders in other regions to align methodologies, share learnings, and operate as one global team
Who You Are

Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing technical talent, and of scaling a team through growth
Deep expertise in DLP, Insider Threat, and CASB solutions, with familiarity with SIEM/SOAR integrations (including those adjacent to Cyberhaven)
Experience advising on security issues affecting data protection and insider risk, both accidental and malicious
Strong understanding of endpoint protection best practices and of macOS, Linux, and Windows environments
Knowledge of security controls for handling sensitive data types
Experience overseeing technical analysis and the documentation and project management aspects of incident response for data security issues
Familiarity with cloud apps and services; passion for cloud technologies
Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Codex and building and developing agents
Experience operating in a SaaS, services, or managed-services delivery model, including managing priorities across multiple customers
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with both creative and logical thinking
Customer-centric, highly motivated, with strong empathy and focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create and deliver management-level presentations and analysis on incident investigations
