About You 

Nutrafol is seeking an experienced Manager, Corporate & OPEX Accounting that will be responsible for overseeing the internal and external audit process, as well as overseeing Opex Accounting. You must be a highly driven, high-energy, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. You will be expected to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment. You will be working closely with the Accounting team and maintain cross-functional relationships. Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the month-end close process for operating expenses, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Oversee the reconciliation of accrual and prepaid expense accounts, ensuring accurate recording and amortization of prepaid items.

  • Prepare flux analysis across the full P&L and Balance Sheet for senior management. 

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

  • Collaborate with various teams to review and maintain comprehensive cost trackers.

  • Manage schedules related to accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other pertinent financial components and ensure these schedules are up-to-date and reconciled regularly.

  • Offer detailed insights into significant month-over-month cost variations.

  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment processing.

Requirements: 

  • Experience with Quickbooks & Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred 

  • 5+ years of accounting experience preferably with Consumer Products Experience

  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience managing and coaching team members

  • CPA or working toward CPA designation preferred 

  • Experience in start-up/high-growth eCommerce or CPG business 

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and be unafraid to ask questions 

  • Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to manipulate, digest, and summarize large amounts of data 

  • Proven ability to identify and drive process and system improvements 

  • Passionate about accounting operations and willing to roll up your sleeves 

  • Experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to various audiences
