​​About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Content Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be at the center of coordinating the seamless delivery of content across multiple teams, ensuring that every piece of content is delivered on time and meets our high standards.

You will work closely with SEO, Editorial, Engineering, Design, Legal, and Product teams to manage content operations for the Hims.com and Forhers.com websites, including our blogs, mobile apps, Google Shopping pages, paid landing pages, and more. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that new designs and technical requirements are communicated and delivered early enough to avoid delays, and to coordinate necessary content and prevent duplicate efforts by content producers. You will search for and surface opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements. You should be process-oriented, efficiency-focused, and able to manage multiple stakeholders with direct and clear communication.

You Will:

  • Serve as the coordinator for new content requests—work across Engineering, Content, Product, Legal, Clinical, and Marketing to route requests as needed and get input from stakeholders

  • Serve as project manager coordinating across Engineering, Marketing, and Product to create self-serve modules that work for all stakeholders and enhance our Content Management System for web production

  • Identify and push for consistency and uniformity across content, and surface design changes and updates that are necessary for individual pieces of content

  • Guide the design, development, testing and deployment of new features and enhancements to the CMS, as well as seeking feedback from internal stakeholders to surface opportunities to make our CMS more self-serve

  • Seek out and surface opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements in the way we produce and deliver content

  • Manage short- and long-term content publication, including regular, weekly content updates as well as those for new product launches

  • Configure A/B testing to validate content enhancements and optimizations to our websites and mobile apps

  • Manage weekly app content curation to drive repeat app usage 

  • Perform audits of existing content to record and remove mentions of sunsetted products, images, brand ambassadors, claims, etc.

  • Assist with the management of the content architecture, and placement of content in the user experience. 

  • Serve as the main point of contact with our content management vendors (mainly Contentful) and stay up to date on their capability improvements

You Are:

  • Knowledgeable of Contentful or a similar content management system (CMS), with advanced proficiency in content publishing, editing, and administration. Able to navigate CMS interfaces, troubleshoot issues, and provide comprehensive training to users at all skill levels.

  • Organized and efficient, with strong project management, problem solving and analytical thinking skills

  • Familiar with project management & collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Slack and Monday.com to track progress, and collaborate with team members effectively 

  • Able to work quickly and collaboratively on technical projects, and provide an informed perspective on web best practices 

  • Capable of driving alignment among cross-functional teams and pushing back when needed

  • Comfortable balancing numerous priorities and demands 

You Have:

  • 5+ years of web publishing, content operations, and content management experience (Contentful strongly preferred)

  • Experience collaborating with development teams

  • Understanding of SEO principles

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work

  • Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast paced environment

  • Experience with web user experience (UX) a plus

  • Experience with Growthbook or another A/B testing platform is a plus
