About The Role

Veho is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Lead Industrial Engineer to join our Operations Excellence team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing our package delivery operations by leveraging industrial engineering principles and data analysis. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across our hubs and delivery sites.

Responsibilities Include:  

• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in package sorting, loading, and unloading processes.

• Support implementation of automated sortation in locations throughout the network.

• Develop and implement process improvement solutions using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

• Collaborate with operations personnel at all levels to ensure effective implementation of improvements.

• Conduct time and motion studies to analyze warehouse workflows.

• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and delivery operations.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a logistics environment.

• Experience in implementation of automated package sortation.

• Proven experience in applying industrial engineering principles to improve processes.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).

• Expertise in using drafting tools and computer-assisted design software to create the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, based on business needs that fluctuate.
