We're looking for a Lead Front End Engineer to join our CMS BDAMAX team, building and leading the front end of a customer-facing healthcare application that serves millions of beneficiaries.
What you'll be doing:
- Design, build, and iterate on a high-impact healthcare application using TypeScript and React

- Integrate AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Gemini into your daily workflow to accelerate development
- Partner with backend engineers on RESTful API integration and seamless frontend-to-backend delivery
- Mentor engineers on the team and actively support their growth
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement, PI Planning, and release readiness in close partnership with product and delivery
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with deep expertise in TypeScript and React
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience including code reviews, architecture decisions, and mentoring
- Strong commitment to web accessibility standards including WCAG and Section 508

- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Benefits:
- Fully remote
- Yearly stipend
- Comprehensive Benefits Package
- Company Match 401(k) plan
- Flexible PTO, Paid Holidays
