Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Knowledge & Content Specialist to join our team and enhance our knowledge base. The ideal candidate will specialize in rewriting and organizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Processes, and How-To guides to ensure clarity, accessibility, and user-friendliness. This role requires a meticulous approach to documentation, a deep understanding of technical and process documentation, and the ability to communicate complex information in a simple, understandable manner.

 Responsibilities

  • Rewrite and standardize SOPs, Processes, and How-To documents to improve readability and comprehension.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information on processes and procedures.

  • Ensure all documentation meets company standards and adheres to best practices in technical writing.

  • Manage the documentation lifecycle, including review, revision, and update of existing materials.

  • Utilize documentation tools and software to create a structured and searchable knowledge base.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of documentation style guides and templates.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create clear and concise documentation.

  • Proven track record of improving team accuracy, efficiency, and performance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address issues.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with legal and compliance considerations related to document operations.

  • Proficiency in using knowledge base software and tools.

  • Prior experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus

Background Traits:

  • Analytical thinker with the ability to understand and dissect complex processes.

  • Self-starter who can work independently but also collaborates well in a team environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

  • Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and documentation technologies.

  • Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company can be beneficial but is not mandatory.

System Requirements

  • Minimum 15Mbps wired internet connection

  • Minimum i5 processor or equivalent

  • Minimum 12GB Ram

  • Quiet working environment

  • Steady power and internet connection.
