Remote position
Applicants in the Eastern Time Zone are highly preferred
Must reside in the United States to be considered
Responsibilities
Assist with network security implementation and consulting services for multiple customer environments under senior engineer guidance
Support implementation and management of SASE technologies from Netskope, Zscaler, or Palo Alto (training provided)
Configure and maintain firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or Cisco under supervision
Assist in developing network security documentation such as as-built documents, implementation guides, and network diagrams
Support senior engineers during customer engagements and technical implementations
Qualifications
1–3 years of Network Security Engineering experience or relevant education and certifications
Foundational knowledge of firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA preferred)
Basic understanding of SASE technologies and concepts
Familiarity with core networking and security fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, switching)
Experience or coursework with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred
Strong desire to learn and grow in the cybersecurity field
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Security+ or Network+ certification preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Willingness to pursue vendor certifications (SASE, NGFW, Cisco CCNA)
