As a fast growing mission-driven startup, we are looking to grow our team and hire a junior software engineer with a frontend focus to help us take our learning experiences to the next level!

Salary range: $100,000-$120,000

Impact Opportunities

• In 1 month, you will have familiarized yourself with our codebase and contributed to aspects of a new or ongoing project in collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering team members

• In 3 months, you will have assisted in writing technical briefs and documentation with guidance

• In 6 months, you will have lead the development of an in-house self service tool for users

Role & Responsibilities

• Support Learning Engagement team with delivery of product features for end to end web applications

• Work closely with the founding engineers, and co-founders to translate UI/UX designs into client-side, responsive web applications

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, researchers, and product to design and develop prototypes for advances features or designs

• Support the team in establishing high standards for code quality, documentation, and UI/UX

Ideal Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working hands-on as a software engineer

• Are excited about innovation and automations

• Experience with React and Rails

• Familiarity with Apollo and interfacing with GraphQL APIs

• Able to communicate clearly and write clear documentation

• Strong understanding of Software Development life cycle

• Experience working with Cloud environments such as AWS
