Your Mission Brief

The Junior Web Developer supports the development, maintenance, and optimization of web applications and websites across Skyrocket Studios’ digital ecosystem.

Where You’ll Lead

This role focuses on building scalable frontend solutions using modern frameworks, supporting backend integrations, and implementing marketing technology tools to enable data-driven digital experiences. Website & Application Development

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js as the primary frontend framework.

• Build and manage WordPress websites using Elementor and related tools.

• Develop and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites with basic Liquid template customization.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement web features that align with client requirements and business goals.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across web platforms.

Frontend & Backend Integration

• Build dynamic and responsive frontend interfaces using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Assist in integrating APIs to enable communication between frontend and backend systems.

• Work closely with backend developers to optimize API performance and functionality.

• Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainable and scalable code.

Martech Integration

• Implement and manage marketing technology integrations including Facebook Conversion API, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), TikTok Analytics, and related platforms.

• Configure tracking events, conversion tracking, and custom analytics implementations.

• Ensure website functionality and performance remain stable during Martech integrations.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to support campaign tracking and performance measurement.

Content & Source Code Management

• Maintain and organize codebases within version control systems and repositories.

• Manage website content updates within CMS platforms.

• Implement new website features and updates aligned with development standards and best practices.

Team Collaboration & Client Interaction

• Participate in technical discussions, brainstorming sessions, and occasional client meetings.

• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver integrated digital solutions.

• Support documentation for development processes, technical specifications, and project updates.

Continuous Learning & Industry Knowledge

• Stay updated on modern web development technologies including React.js, API development, and e-commerce platforms.

• Participate in training programs, workshops, and industry learning opportunities.

• Share insights and best practices with the development team to improve workflows and code quality.

Mission Control and AI

• Contribute to internal missions and continuous improvement initiatives by supporting the development of processes, systems, workflows, and operational improvements that enhance team efficiency and overall business operations.

• Explore and apply AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies where appropriate to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support smarter ways of working across the organization.

• Participate in cross-functional mission projects and initiatives that drive innovation, operational excellence, and scalable solutions for the company.

Essential skills, knowledge or experience  

• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js.

• Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements and project needs.

Desirable skills, knowledge or experience  

• Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.

• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templating and e-commerce development.

• Knowledge of Martech platforms and analytics tools such as GTM and GA4.

• Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with agile development workflows and collaboration tools.

Required education and qualifications (certifications, licenses, accreditations, etc.)  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience working with React.js and API integrations.

• Basic understanding of WordPress and Shopify development environments.

• Awareness of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA related to analytics tracking.
