We’re powering the future of insurance infrastructure, one line of business at a time.

Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Junior Customer Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s eager to get hands-on experience in technical implementation, problem-solving, and customer-facing configuration work – all while learning how real-world software platforms are built and supported.

• Generating documents using Word templates (docxtemplater)

• Managing customer-facing forms using configuration in Typescript

• Writing business rules using simple scripts in Lua

• Occasionally helping build ETL scripts to load customer data into our reporting systems

• Making customer dreams come true 🌈🦄

Position Details

  • Type: Full-time (after paid trial period)

  • Location: Remote

  • Compensation: $40-$60k DOE and location (full-time position)

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and update customer logic across documents, forms, and rating rules

  • Use and extend templates for policy documents (via .docx and templating syntax)

  • Implement and test scripted business logic (e.g., Lua rating functions)

  • Make customer-facing form changes using Typescript config

  • Help triage and fix live customer issues or change requests

  • Build or adapt data import scripts to load customer data into our reporting systems

  • Learn fast, take initiative, and grow into owning full onboarding projects over time

Required Skills

  • Solid Microsoft Word skills (especially tables, formatting, structure)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Comfort with logical thinking and conditional logic

  • Experience with programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Lua, Typescript, etc.)

  • Clear written and verbal communication (we’re remote)

  • A self-starter mindset with a hunger to learn

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Git/version control

  • Experience using VS Code or similar editors

  • Hands-on exposure to scripting or simple automation (even in school or side projects)

  • Understanding of how data flows through systems (ETL, APIs, etc.)

  • Insurance industry or documentation experience

$55,000 - $75,000 a year

Growth Path

This role is designed to grow into:

• Leading full technical implementations for new customers

• Becoming an internal expert in rating, templates, and workflow config

• Contributing to internal tools and systems that make our onboarding faster and better
