What We Need:
We are looking for expert JavaScript software developers to do the following:
Build code repos
Review code repos
Test code repos
Add comments/suggest changes to existing repos
Create engaging and challenging coding questions
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:
A strong understanding of coding concepts
5+ years of experience with building production code
The ability to craft questions that test various skills and knowledge levels
Essentially, we are looking for experienced software engineers or technical content creators who can design real-world, developer-centric coding questions that go beyond textbook algorithms. Your goal is to build code repos, review and test existing code repos, create engaging, practical challenges that simulate everyday coding and debugging scenarios developers face at work across multiple roles (backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, etc.). This content will help developers practice and assess their skills in realistic settings, similar to those they’d encounter on the job. Responsibilities:
Create tasks on code repos that reflect real-world engineering tasks, such as debugging APIs, optimizing queries, designing microservices, or implementing frontend components.
Write clear, concise problem statements with sample input/output, constraints, and detailed solution explanations.
Provide clean, production-style reference solutions and test cases.
Requirements:
Strong programming experience in one or more modern languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, etc.).
Hands-on experience with real-world software development (not just competitive programming).
Excellent ability to break down technical problems and communicate clearly.
Prior experience creating coding questions, tutorials, or assessments is a big plus.
Familiarity with industry practices like APIs, databases, system design, or code optimization.
