Expected Results

• Be the sole consultant that successfully leads the IT separation of a medium sized business ($200M to $1B in revenue) from its corporate parent, including standing up new applications, infrastructure and creating a (small) new IT organization.

• Serve as the interim CIO for this new, carved out entity.

• Facilitate strategic decisions with leadership of the new entity.

• Communicate progress on the IT separation initiatives to leadership and the board.

Requirements

• Carveout experience - has led multiple IT separation efforts as the lead and only program manager / IT separation leader.

• 20+ years of IT experience with increasing responsibility, including leadership / executive level responsibilities within IT.

• Communication skills – can talk technical to the technical folks and is equally comfortable in the c suite / board room.

• A plus:  enterprise architecture experience

• A plus:  CIO experience

• A plus:  IT consulting experience (bigger plus:  M&A IT consulting experience)

• A plus:  experience leading IT integration initiatives where an acquired company is being merged with an existing company and the IT of both companies must be combined

• A plus:  manufacturing experience
