As part of the Member Engineering organization, our teams lead the way in shaping discovery and viewing experiences across mobile, TV, and Live. In essence, we help members find stories they'll love—and ensure they enjoy watching them, too.
We are seeking Senior Software Engineers to drive innovation and deliver delightful experiences to Netflix members on the iOS app. Our work spans rapid development of highly visible product experiences, long-term maintenance to enable future innovations, and building robust, scalable solutions that power the Netflix experience.

Role Focus Areas
Product Engineer: Ship consumer-facing features that help members discover and enjoy stories across iOS devices. Partner with design and product to prototype, iterate, and launch at scale. You’ll focus on UI performance, quality, and accessibility, collaborating closely with experience design and creative production teams.
Ads Engineer: Deliver and evolve the platform for innovative, customizable ad experiences. Build frameworks for interactive formats and server-side ad insertion with seamless, targeted delivery. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to ensure ads are integrated in a performant and engaging way for our members.

What You’ll Do
Collaborate with engineers and product teams to build delightful, performant, and accessible consumer-facing experiences using Swift on the client and GraphQL for data access.
Develop maintainable code that is robust over time, with effective automation and documentation to support knowledge sharing within the team.
Act as a strategic partner with product management to scope projects, with designers to refine UI specifications, and with engineering teams to collaborate on shared infrastructure. This includes considering business, product, and architectural trade-offs to inform your software designs.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $250,000.00 - $413,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
