International Tax Senior Manager
The Global Tax team is seeking a dedicated tax professional who will play a hands-on role in a growing tax function. As Reddit continues to mature as a public company, this person will play a critical role in our day-to-day tax operations and will support our international tax reporting and compliance process. This position will report to the Tax Director.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for our international income tax and indirect tax compliance obligations to ensure accurate and timely filings for foreign subsidiaries 
- Assist with the preparation of foreign R&D credit studies 
- Support our monthly accounting close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations 
- Assist the provision team with preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions 
- Support our international accounting team on statutory filings and assist in global transfer pricing policy and documentation process 
- Support international M&A activities including assistance with tax due diligence and integration planning 
- Manage direct and indirect tax audits and respond to inquiries from foreign tax authorities 
- Support international tax planning initiatives, global tax forecasting, and tax process improvements/tax automation 
- Monitor global tax legislative developments and research international tax laws and policies to evaluate their tax impact 
- Collaborate with business partners on ad hoc projects and provide guidance on tax related matters 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, masters in Tax (MST or LLM) preferred 
- CPA preferred 
- 9+ years of corporate tax experience with at least 5 years of public accounting experience 
- Strong understanding of US international tax regulations, transfer pricing, and international tax laws (GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Pillar 2, withholding taxes). 
- This role requires the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate international teams across multiple time zones. 
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Workspace (e.g. Google Sheets and Slides) required 
- Experience working with Avalara or Vertex is a plus 
- Able to work independently under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlines 
- Possess excellent attention to detail, organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a remote environment 
- Team player with a positive attitude and open mindset, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work in a dynamic environment
