As our new Internal Communications Specialist, you’ll use strategic execution & storytelling skills to help the People Team and Learning & Development initiatives find traction, grow in scale, and make a real difference. Working with multiple stakeholders, you’ll help shape a cohesive narrative across the employee lifecycle, making learning, growth, and well-being initiatives feel connected, human, and purposeful. 

You’ll also help nurture satisfaction inside the People Team itself by facilitating the execution of recognition & engagement activities in partnership with senior People leaders. Sounds interesting? Read on.

Timezone: CET +/- 2 hours

👩‍💻 Reporting to: Natasha Lutrov - Global Internal Comms Lead, with matrixed priorities set by Head of L&D. 

🚀 Your team: You will be part of the Internal Communications Team (8 people), with the People Team and L&D leaders as your primary stakeholders.

What will you do?

Your time will be split roughly 60/40 between Learning & Development storytelling and broader People Team communications.  Specifically, you could expect to: 

  • Create and maintain clear, consistent communications for People and L&D initiatives across the organization.

  • Partner with L&D and People leaders to execute communications that launch programs and sustain engagement. 

  • Support L&D content releases by advising on messaging, timing, and channels.

  • Build content that promotes visibility and engagement around L&D/People Team initiatives. 

  • Develop and maintain communications frameworks, standards, and templates to improve quality and efficiency.

  • As and when requested, plan and execute engagement events for the People Team, including monthly meetings, celebrations, Q&A sessions, and more. 

  • Manage a regular comms cadence within the People Team while building the content that will keep people’s attention.

What will you bring?

  • Strong ability to write clear, engaging stories for diverse audiences 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Internal Communications, ideally supporting People, L&D, or organisational change

  • Ability to translate strategy into concrete communication plans. 

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a distributed global environment.

  • Naturally collaborative and team-oriented

  • Ability to succeed in a change environment

  • Copywriting skills that can adapt to diverse audiences and channels while maintaining a big picture storyline

  • Comms campaign and project management skills

  • Experience promoting or marketing People and L&D initiatives

  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to try, fail, and adjust

  • Commitment to follow projects and ideas through to full implementation
