This is a fully remote position unless otherwise noted. We welcome applicants from across the U.S., with preference for candidates located in the Midwest, Southeast, Southwest, and Mountain West regions. A full list of preferred states is included at the bottom of this posting.
Base Salary: $85,000–$105,000* + Variable Compensation + Equity *Actual base salary is dependent on experience and geographic location.
Position Overview
The Account Executive is essential for driving growth within Embroker’s Direct Sales channel, converting qualified inbound leads and advising clients on tailored insurance solutions. We seek a motivated self-starter with a consultative sales approach, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for solving complex client challenges. The ideal candidate must be highly responsive, detail-oriented, and methodical in managing pipeline activities to ensure reliable forecasting and consistent achievement of team goals. Representing Embroker’s Insurtech platform, the Account Executive delivers a modern, client-focused buying experience that aligns with our mission to simplify and improve business insurance.
Job Duties
Pipeline and CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions and deal progress. Ensure all opportunity fields are properly updated to support healthy pipeline hygiene and reliable forecasting. Provide accurate projections toward quarterly goals and collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities for improved conversion or deal quality.
Lead Conversion: Take full ownership of inbound leads generated by Embroker and self-sourced opportunities. Qualify prospects efficiently, assess their business needs, and guide them through the buying journey. Maintain a high conversion rate in line with team benchmarks.
Consultative Advisory & Broker Services: Serveas a trusted advisory by understanding each prospect's unique business needs and recommending tailored insurance solutions. Maintain a deep understanding of Embroker’s offerings and open marketing alternatives to deliver exceptional solutions throughout the sales process. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner closely with the Client Success team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding, supporting clients with post-sale questions and maintaining continuity of service. Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure client needs are addressed promptly and insights are shared to improve the overall customer experience. Product Improvement: Leverage insights gained from client interactions and feedback to help shape the evolution of Embroker’s proprietary products. Contribute to produce strategy based on market feedback. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Relevant professional certification (e.g., RPLU, CPCU, ARM) is a plus
4+ years in commercial insurance client management or sales
Active P&C insurance license
Experience with management liability is required, professional or cyber liability experience is a plus
Skilled at managing & prioritizing workloads to meet the needs of prospective clients
Proven ability to consistently meet sales goals
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex insurance themes with senior-level positions at prospects
Experience with Salesforce and Google Suite
Ability to work cross-culturally on a global team
Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to perform at a high-level in a remote work environment
