Our commercial product, YCANTH, is the first FDA-approved treatment for Molluscum Contagiosum, a skin infection most commonly affecting children, and we have several future products in development. POSITION SUMMARY
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for field incoming phone calls, reaching out to Health Care Providers (HCPs) to discuss YCANTH, and assisting our Territory Managers in developing leads and pulling through utilization.
The Inside Sales Representative may also be required to assist or perform other duties within the Company as directed, from time to time.
SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Field incoming calls and reaching out to HCPs
Follow up with and assist Territory Managers on marketing leads
Manage product sample requests
Work cross functionally with the Verrica Reimbursement Team to ensure good HCP experience
Agree to and follow all Company policies and procedures
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in Business or Health-related fields.
Relevant sales experience in the life sciences/biopharmaceutical space a plus.
The ability to achieve sales results, development of HCP/customer relationships, experience and success in working across sales, market access, reimbursement and pharmacy account teams. High agility in working in a fast-paced start-up environment and the ability to adapt to business challenges as they arise.
Key requirements will include:
Strong sales and customer relationship skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required
Proven experience developing key customers and segments of business
Ability to understand clinical information and develop effective sales strategies that are compliant with all regulatory requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication and influence skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
Commitment to Verrica’s vision, mission, core values and culture.
Experience working with buy-and-bill products and/or specialty pharmacy a plus!
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk. Normal requirements for office operations with respect to lifting, standing and walking.
