Infrastructure Sourcing Analyst
About the Role
Armada is seeking an Infrastructure Sourcing Associate to support the sourcing, planning, and enablement of server and networking infrastructure used in Armada’s data center and modular infrastructure offerings.
This role sits at the intersection of hardware sourcing, technical coordination, and commercial enablement, helping translate technical requirements and market realities (pricing, availability, lead times) into clear inputs for Sales, Customer Proposals (Deal Desk), and deployment planning.
This is an execution-focused role ideal for someone early in their infrastructure or supply chain career who is analytical, organized, and eager to build hands-on experience with global hardware markets and cross-functional technical teams.
Location. This role is remote-based on the continental US.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Sourcing & Market Intelligence
Develop and maintain a working view of server and networking hardware markets, including pricing trends, availability, and lead times
Build and update pricing and lead-time trackers for servers, switches, NICs, optics, and cabling
Engage with suppliers and partners to gather market intelligence
Track supply risks, constraints, and market changes impacting deployments
Identify cost optimization opportunities and viable alternative configurations
Technical Coordination & Enablement
Support translation of engineering requirements and technical designs into hardware configuration options, sourcing assumptions, and sales inputs
Help create and maintain technical enablement materials such as product and SKU summaries, infrastructure options, and deployment assumptions
Ensure materials align with Sales and Deal Desk workflows
Customer & Proposal Support
Support customer technical requirements gathering alongside Sales or senior technical staff
Help translate customer needs into feasible infrastructure and sourcing options
Assist in ensuring proposals reflect accurate configurations, pricing assumptions, and lead times
Cross-Functional Execution
Support work across Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Deal Desk teams
Track action items, dependencies, and timelines
Surface risks or blockers and escalate as needed
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Maintain sourcing documentation related to hardware options, pricing assumptions, lead times, and enablement assets
Keep documentation organized and current
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in hardware sourcing, procurement, supply chain, infrastructure, or technical coordination roles
Working knowledge of server and networking hardware components
Basic understanding of data center infrastructure concepts
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience sourcing hardware globally
Familiarity with major server OEMs and networking manufacturers
Experience supporting Sales or customer-facing technical teams
Background in data center operations or deployments
