Position Summary:

Pax8 is actively seeking a seasoned Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our dynamic team and spearhead the advancement of our Microsoft EntraID environment. As an integral member of our organization, they leverage their expertise in identity solutions, access management, and security protocols to drive innovation and ensure the robustness of our systems.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Security Architecture, the Engineer has exceptional communication and presentation skills, coupled with a relentless commitment to delve deep into our existing infrastructure. They align with our Zero Trust Program's objectives and assist in the implementation of pivotal components.

The Engineer possesses a minimum of four years of experience in Microsoft Identity, coupled with a profound understanding of Zero Trust principles, Device Compliance, Mobile Device Management (MDM) integrations, and a comprehensive grasp of Azure and EntraID. We are actively seeking an individual who shares our dedication to advancing our Zero Trust Mission and who can contribute meaningfully to our ongoing initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Design and Implement IAM Solutions: Develop and enhance identity management strategies and solutions using Microsoft EntraID and supporting MDMs.

  • Implement Zero Trust Controls: Work with the Security Architecture group to implement the vision set forth by Security Architecture and triage complexities.

  • Access Control Management: Ensure appropriate access controls are in place and manage the lifecycle of user identities and permissions.

  • Security Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with security policies and regulations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate IAM services with existing infrastructure.

  • Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for IAM-related issues and incidents.

  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Work with the Tech Services and Security Architecture group to implement strong RBAC concepts and controls.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least five (5) years of experience working with Microsoft Identity and other supporting MDM solutions.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft IAM products particularly EntraID and AzureAD.

  • Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization methods.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent work experience.

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $140,000/yr or more depending on experience
