Labcorp is seeking a remote German-speaking Employee Relations Partner to join our team in Poland or Bulgaria.

Work Schedule
40 hours per week, based on a five-day working week (Monday-Friday).

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts detailed investigations into a range of employee relations concerns such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace violence, adhering to all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Provides clear, timely communication regarding investigations, offering comprehensive reports with supporting documentation.

  • Support and coach leaders in managing attendance cases.

  • Facilitating learning workshops and knowledge transfer to leaders.

  • Employs effective interviewing and documentation techniques; adeptly manage cases using designated online case management tool ServiceNow.

  • Assists in the preparation of works council meetings and documentation

  • Supports the development of an inclusive and positive workplace culture.

  • Supports and coaches Managers in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement plans.

  • Partners with business leaders/ HR Leaders reviewing termination business decisions.

  • Provides clear, concise and timely communication, report summaries, and relevant documentation regarding investigations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree desirable, preferably in human resource management or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work.

  • 2 or more years of experience in the Employee Relations field.

  • Professional proficiency in German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting investigations and advising on a wide range of sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including performance management, interpersonal manager/employee conflicts or complaints, leaves, accommodations, and behavioural conduct issues.

  • Knowledge of relevant basic employment and labour laws in Poland and Bulgaria. Germany is a plus.

  • Ability to problem-solve with minimal guidance but willingness to ask for help if appropriate.

Additional Job Standards

  • Fluency in either Polish or Bulgarian is essential to effectively support and collaborate with stakeholders in the respective countries.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct a thorough and complete investigation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with minimal guidance required.

  •  Flexibility and willingness to handle competing priorities and assist others as needed in a team environment.

  • Ability to make timely along with informed, and objective decisions.

About the role:

The Employee Relations Partner reports to the Senior Employee Relations Manager.This role will conduct mid to high-level investigations, managing employee issues to resolution, as well as managing employee relations programs and policies in different regions (including Poland, Bulgaria and Germany). This position interfaces with all employees, including management, Legal, HRBPs and external stakeholders, to maintain positive employee relations and resolve workplace issues between employees and management.
