The Role The Hospitality Industry Product Manager will be a key driver in expanding our product offerings within the hospitality sector. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead our efforts to move upmarket, develop partner and channel relationships, and present compelling business cases. The ideal candidate has a track record of success in a growth-stage company, has experience taking a business through pivotal growth phases (e.g., Series B, IPO), and can spearhead new verticals from inception to maturity. What You'll Do
Market Expansion: Lead the strategic initiative to move upmarket within the hospitality sector, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities for growth and leveraging insights to build a strong roadmap for expansion within the hospitality space.
Thought Leadership: Represent the company as a thought leader in the hospitality industry, enhancing our presence through speaking engagements, webinars, and industry conferences.
Product Development: Drive the business and data aspects of product management, ensuring that our offerings are competitive, data-driven, and aligned with market demands.
Partner & Channel Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and channels, identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.
Business Case Development: Create and present compelling business cases to stakeholders, demonstrating the value and potential ROI of new product initiatives.
Vertical Incubation: Take ownership of new industry verticals, driving them from inception to product-market fit and revenue generation before transitioning them to a dedicated team.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing success.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
5+ years of product management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, AP Automation, or a related field. Proven experience in a growth-stage startup, with a track record of taking products through pivotal growth phases (e.g., Series B, IPO).
Deep understanding of the hospitality industry including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Strong business sense with experience in developing and presenting business cases. Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent presentation and speaking skills, with the ability to represent the company as a thought leader in the industry.
A self-starter with a passion for building and scaling new verticals from the ground up.
