Hospital Lab Operations Manager

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Lab Operations Manager to join our team. Thisis a remote position.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm 

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the operational design, financial modeling, and implementation of strategic business partnerships with hospitals and health systems.

• Contribute to long-term relationship management bymonitoringperformance,identifyingopportunities for optimization, and ensuring partnershipobjectivesare met.

• Perform detailed operational and financial data analysis for large healthcare systems toidentifyimprovement opportunities, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving strategies.

• Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations aligned with strategic partnership goals.

• Conduct comprehensive operational assessments across laboratory workflows, staffing, equipmentutilization, and productivity.

• Develop and present process improvement recommendations that enhance operational performance and support strategicobjectives.

• LeadMSA (Management ServicesAgreement) implementation efforts as project manager, including creation of project plans, timelines, communication structures, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams—operations, finance, IT, supply chain, and executive leadership—to execute project deliverables and ensure successful transition outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology

• ASCP or equivalent

• 5 years clinical lab experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master'sdegree 

• Project management experience

• Hospital or reference lab experience

• Leadership experience

Additional Job Standards:

• Proficient in Excel

• Travel 20%-30%

• Excellent customer service and presentation skills

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Pay Range: $100K - $130K

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior experience, applicable degree/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.  

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
