Hospital Lab Operations Manager
Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Lab Operations Manager to join our team. Thisis a remote position.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
Support the operational design, financial modeling, and implementation of strategic business partnerships with hospitals and health systems.
Contribute to long-term relationship management bymonitoringperformance,identifyingopportunities for optimization, and ensuring partnershipobjectivesare met.
Perform detailed operational and financial data analysis for large healthcare systems toidentifyimprovement opportunities, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving strategies.
Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations aligned with strategic partnership goals.
Conduct comprehensive operational assessments across laboratory workflows, staffing, equipmentutilization, and productivity.
Develop and present process improvement recommendations that enhance operational performance and support strategicobjectives.
LeadMSA (Management ServicesAgreement) implementation efforts as project manager, including creation of project plans, timelines, communication structures, and risk mitigation strategies.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams—operations, finance, IT, supply chain, and executive leadership—to execute project deliverables and ensure successful transition outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in medical technology
ASCP or equivalent
5 years clinical lab experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master'sdegree
Project management experience
Hospital or reference lab experience
Leadership experience
Additional Job Standards:
Proficient in Excel
Travel 20%-30%
Excellent customer service and presentation skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills

Pay Range: $100K - $130K
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior experience, applicable degree/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
