The role is restricted to those physically located in Europe, while this is a remote position, we cannot consider candidates not based in such a region. Preference will be given to candidates based in Portugal, Spain, or Malta. The role:
The Head of Sports Assets will be accountable for the commercial success of the sports assets at Raketech. The successful candidate will engage with business stakeholders such as C-Suite, Sales, and Tech to ensure all product and commercial requirements are gathered, planned for, and delivered across the sports portfolio. You will work with a dedicated team of Product Owners as well as dedicated SEO and content editors, who will all work across a number of domains. The ideal candidate is a commercially driven, self-starter, who is organized and has a high level of knowledge of the sports affiliate sector. The role carries P&L responsibility for the vertical.

Show organic revenue growth in excess of the market growth.
Strive to develop industry-leading products that can evolve from traditional SEO-focused assets to become consumer brands. Do this by creating and maintaining short and long-term product roadmaps.
Communicate the team’s prioritization with key stakeholders.
Work with the Sales team to ensure the long-term commercial success of your portfolio, including strategies around pricing, events, and quick win promotions.
Own the P&L for the Sports team and deliver growth expectations through focused revenue & cost management. Ensure that we maintain a rolling forecast for the quarter/year.
Provide insight about the Sports iGaming market to the leadership team and report on your products’ performance regularly highlighting any key trends or deviators.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product-focused role
Big sports fan across several sports.
Proven record of delivering commercial success and growth in a digital business.
iGaming or sports affiliate industry experiences
Knowledge of the Swedish language - Nice to have
